When a generation is finished, the order shows the question "How was your result?" with two buttons: "Looks great" and "Needs work". It's the fastest way to tell us what came out well and what didn't. Here is how it works and why it's worth writing even when everything is fine.
What you can rate
- The whole order or one specific site in it: if one site out of 20 is off, give its number.
- Feedback is available only for completed orders, one per order.
If everything is fine
Tap π. Nothing else is needed: the feedback is saved, and we can see which combinations of template, page volume and settings give results clients are happy with.
If something is wrong
Tap π and pick what exactly:
- design: colors, fonts, layout;
- content: inaccurate or repetitive text, or the wrong language;
- images: unsuitable or missing;
- structure: a needed page or section is missing or badly placed;
- technical error: a page, button or link doesn't work;
- doesn't match the brief;
- other.
For each category the form hints at what to write. For a technical error, for instance: which page, which button and on what device. The more specific the comment, the faster we understand what to fix.
What happens to a negative review
It goes into the operator queue. In the cabinet the review has a status: "Received", "Under review", "Being fixed", "Fixed & returned", "Refunded" or "Closed". After that, depending on the case:
- if the problem can be fixed, we fix it manually and tell you the sites can be downloaded again;
- if it can't be fixed, we return the credits for that generation.
The operator decides each case. We don't promise that every review ends in a refund, but every one gets read.
Why we need it
The health score, the pre-launch quality rating, rests on weights we set by hand. To make them more accurate they have to be checked against reality. So along with the feedback we save a snapshot of the order at that moment: the health score, template, page and content volume, number of sites. Once there are enough reviews we can check which warnings really line up with unhappy clients.
The more feedback, the more honest that calibration. For now the score in the cabinet is a guide and doesn't guarantee the result on moderation. Feedback is what helps it become more useful.
Not only about orders: the Ideas section
If a feature or template is missing, open the Ideas section in the cabinet: suggest an idea and vote on others. Ideas are moderated, then appear on the board with the statuses "Open", "Planned", "In progress" and "Done". Template requests have their own article: a template made to order.
How to write useful feedback
- Give the site number if the problem isn't with the whole order.
- Write what you expected and what you got.
- For technical errors add the page and device.
- Don't wait until many notes pile up: a short note right after delivery beats a long one a month later.
If you haven't ordered yet, see what the result looks like on the features page. And what to check yourself before launch is in the white page checklist.
